Wolfsburg is in season for events all year round: Whether street festivals, flea markets, sporting events, open-air concerts, public viewing - or other events - the city and its citizens love to celebrate.
Do you also want to hold a public event in Wolfsburg? Then register it with the City of Wolfsburg. In order to minimize the effort for the organizer and to make the procedure clear, the approval is done "from one source". For this purpose, the city of Wolfsburg has set up a coordination office that serves as a central contact for the organizer.
In principle, a registration period of six weeks applies to each event.
ATTENTION! There is an exception for events with
1. more than 5,000 expected visitors/participants
2. events where the number of expected visitors exceeds one third of the population of the city of Wolfsburg or
3. where there is an increased risk to public safety and order.
Due to the complex examination required, the application for holding these events must be submitted at least three months before the planned start of the event.
